Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is a serious investment and one I don’t take lightly for all the couples I work with. I’m not just there to take beautiful photos, but I’ll be there to make sure you relax, laugh, smile and most of all remember the reason for the day, to celebrate the love you two have.

On your wedding day.

Before your wedding day we’ll meet either in person or via video call to plan out your wedding day, making sure your itinerary is balanced, relaxing and going to give you the best wedding possible. I’ll be with you all day from getting ready to when you’re cutting shapes on the dance floor. Half the time you won’t notice me and the other half I’ll be guiding you to get the best, most in love photos you can, either way I’ll be there capturing everything romantic and otherwise.

After your wedding day.

The day after your wedding I get to work editing, curating and delivering you a beautiful gallery of 20 photos from the most special moments of your day. Over the next few weeks I spend hours editing, fine tuning and curating a gallery of hundreds of special photos for your wedding day gallery. When it’s ready I’ll send you an online gallery, easy to download and share with all your friends and family.

Remember your wedding day with a film, and remove the admin of another service to book. I work with a handful of selected wedding videographers around New Zealand to help produce stunning wedding films with audio from your ceremony and speeches. We create timeless films with the intention of having you and your newly wed in tears, the good kind obviously.

Engagement Shoot.

An engagement shoot is a great idea to celebrate the fact you’re getting married! We can shoot at the location of your choice or I am happy to suggest great places nearby. If you’re feeling nervous or a little apprehensive about being in front of the camera on your wedding day then this is a great way for us to become familiar with each other, have some fun and make sure you’re comfortable.

Travel.

I love to travel. The airport feels like a second home at this point. I am based in Christchurch but wherever you’re tying the knot I’d be honoured to join you.

  • Send me a message here, otherwise an email on hello@talbotweddings.com, once we’ve confirmed I’m available on your wedding day and the package you need I charge a $500 deposit to secure your date.

  • Yes absolutely, I love to. I am based in Christchurch New Zealand and will gladly travel anywhere in New Zealand or internationally if you require.

  • I don’t. I spend countless hours first selecting photos from the thousands of raws I will shoot during your wedding, making sure to choose the ones with your brothers eyes open and your hair looking its best. Next I edit all those photos to look as dreamy, romantic and as good as they can.

  • Honestly a little bit of both, it’s quick and easy to work out how the two of you are infront of a camera, sometimes it comes naturally sometimes its harder for you, either way I make you feel at ease and will guide you to feel comfortable and look your best. Lots of movement, laughs, and little cute moments always help.

  • Great question, almost like I wrote it. Relax and enjoy the experience, soak up the time with your other half. Additionally popping out to shoot quickly at golden hour, the hour before sunset, really makes for some beautiful light. Otherwise a helicopter flight to the mountain tops does the trick.

  • I shot my first wedding in 2020, shortly before the first c***** lockdown. Since then I’ve enjoyed shooting a handful of weddings each season. I’ve been working full-time as a photographer for over four years, both in New Zealand and Internationally.
